Velika Plaza (Long Beach) near Ulcinj is 12 kilometres of shallow sandy beach on the very south of Montenegro. Kiters from all over Europe come here for a combination rarely found on a single spot: a reliable thermal wind after midday, warm shallow water free of rocks and currents, and space that never feels crowded — even in high season.
Next door are the Bojana river mouth and Ada Bojana island — a legendary flat-water playground for freestyle. The season runs from May to October; the windiest months are June, July and August, when the thermal works like clockwork.
